OBJECTIVE:
The objective of this workshop is to teach the basics of braiding a cornrow
IN THE WORKSHOP, STUDENTS WILL LEARN TO:
-Part a clean part.
-Correctly place their hands and fingers on head. -Braid a cornrow.
LENGTH OF CLASS:
2 ½ hours of hands on training.
TOOLS NEEDED FOR WORKSHOP:
-Mannequin* or Live Model
-Mannequin table Stand*
-Clips/Clamps
-Combs
-Brush
-Jam
*Items can be provided for use during instruction time.
BRAIDING IS A BASIC SKILL EVERYONE SHOULD LEARN AND KNOW. BRAIDING IS THE FOUNDATION FOR A LOT OF STYLES. AFTER COMPLETING THIS WORKSHOP, STUDENTS WILL HAVE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF PARTING A CLEAN PART, PROPER HAND AND FINGER PLACEMENT, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, BRAIDING A NEAT CORNROW.
